Made with a blend of rose tea, black lychee tea, dried peach tea, dried hibiscus tea, dry apple, dry orange peel and fresh lemon peel, the infusion provides a tenacious tea burst that is clear on the palate.
THE SCIENCE OF THE “LOUCHEING” TECHNIQUE
Crimson Pangolin Peach Rose is not chill-filtered, so there will be a pearlescent cloudiness that will appear when an ice cube or tonic is added. This is due to a process calle “loucheing.” This method creates the richest possible flavours due to the high proportion of botanical extract and essential oils.
FLAVOR PROFILE
Whilst this gin retains the citrus notes of the original Crimson Pangolin profile, the
aftertaste of Hunan spice has been replaced with a beautifully complex and refreshing
blend of some of China’s well-loved teas, making for a cool, crisp, refreshing gin and
tonic.
