Four Pillars developed the Navy Strength gin after experimenting with high proof gin for the Gin Palace, which is a Melbourne cocktail bar. They decided to add Judy’s Everbearing native finger limes with organic oranges into the botanical basket, with fresh ginger, giving the Navy Strength Gin its signature power and intensity.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Strong aromas of lime and ginger that intensifies the spice and citrus notes.
Palate: Pleasant orange taste with hints of the tartness from the lime, the coriander, ginger and cardamom play a background role. Bringing the fruit and spices together the sweet vanilla brings everything to balance.
Finish: Sweet, fruity and spicy finish that leaves a pleasant dry after taste.
