Each step of the small batch process involves more human interaction, from hand selecting casks of grain and malt whiskey, blending each batch to taste, and finishing in only the highest quality Central American rum casks, imparting a distinct full-flavored character.
NOSE: Dried fruit, malt, dark fruit, toffee, malty sweetness, banana and light notes of apricot, brown sugar and grains. Similar to a “traditional” Irish Whiskey nose, but amped up a notch and accented by some darker notes. A pleasant aroma indeed. PALATE: Malt, honey, banana nut muffin, caramel, dried fruit and light notes of spice, dark sweets and vanilla taffy glide across the palate in a simple supple manner. Like the nose there’s a very traditional feel to it, but it’s amped up a notch and paired with some darker notes. FINISH: Medium drawl of banana nut muffin, dried fruit and brown sugar. 46% ABV Additional Information
